Senior Software Engineer(Python & AWS) (Full-Time)

Location: Dallas, TX

Employment Type: Full-Time

Compensation: $130-$140K Base + Benefits

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to help modernize our restaurant technology platform by designing and building scalable, cloud-native solutions across our POS and back-office ecosystem. This senior individual contributor will develop secure, high-performance systems supporting restaurant operations, inventory modernization, and intelligent automation.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable POS and back-office integration services.
• Build cloud-native APIs and distributed microservices on AWS.
• Develop secure, PCI-compliant transaction processing solutions.
• Modernize inventory and item master management.
• Create reusable integrations across POS, kitchen, and enterprise systems.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and monitoring.
• Ensure system reliability, scalability, and operational excellence.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver business-driven technology solutions.
• Leverage AI and automation to improve engineering productivity and operational efficiency.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of software engineering experience.
• Strong experience with Restaurant POS, Retail, Hospitality, or Store Technology.
• Expertise in Python, REST APIs, and distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience with AWS and cloud-native application development.
• Experience building high-availability, low-latency transactional systems.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD, testing, and production support.
• Experience working in PCI-compliant or regulated environments.
• Experience with AI/Generative AI is a plus.
