Job Title: Service Designer

Location: Hybrid- Mountain View, CA
Pay Rate : USD 55-65/ HR ON W2

We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Service Designer to join our team and drive impactful service design projects for our mid-market customers. In this role, you will lead the scoping, planning, and delivery of complex service design initiatives that align with our strategic business goals, helping shape seamless user experiences and delivering lasting results.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end service design projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer needs.
  • Design and develop experience or ecosystem maps, user journeys, service blueprints, interaction models, process flows, storyboards, and prototypes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to clearly articulate the service vision, ensuring broad understanding, alignment, and buy-in across the organization.
  • Identify common patterns and behaviors across services and leverage insights to create durable, reusable design solutions.
  • Employ strategic thinking to define project vision and goals, bridging tactical execution with overarching business objectives.
  • Build strong relationships with research and design teams, as well as other departments such as service experience management, business system analytics, product management, and service delivery.
  • Champion the use of service design methodologies, embedding best practices into the team’s workflow while adapting to new methods for continuous improvement.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience in service design, design thinking, and UX methodologies.
  • Expertise in creating detailed service design deliverables such as user journeys, blueprints, and prototypes.
  • Strong strategic mindset, with the ability to link service design decisions to broader business outcomes.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to foster innovation and a continuous improvement mindset in the design process.
