Software Engineer in Test

Job Description:

Must Have

• Playwright / Cypress – JavaScript, Typescript.
• strong automation skills, setting up frameworks from scratch.
• Rest Assured.
• SQL for Database testing.
• Experience working across applications.
• Experience building Build CI/ CD pipelines to manage test automation scripts – Jenkins, Git/Stash or similar tools

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

• BS / BA or equivalent education or experience
• 10+ years of relevant hands-on SDET work experience with a specific focus on automation frameworks and automation testing.
• Proven experience in Agile / Scrum methodology
• Hands on experience with crafting and maintaining node-based test suites that utilizes frameworks like Cypress or Webdriver.io or Puppeteer or Playwright.
• Must be proficient in coding in TypeScript, JavaScript on Node stack.
• Good to have: Hands on experience with crafting and maintaining java-based test suites that utilizes Selenium, Cucumber and jUnit to test Web UI applications.
• Expertise in web services testing and proven experience with Rest Assured/Karate.
• Advanced Experience with Git + GitHub, CI/CD orchestration tooling (Jenkins, Travis, Circle or similar), Artifact Management (Artifactory, Nexus or similar)
• Detailed understanding of build process for Java (SpringBoot), Node.js (Angular)
• Good understanding of Docker containerization/ containerization of test execution.
• Highly collaborative individual with ability to influence others and build strong partner relationships internally, as well as externally.
• Hands-on experience driving innovation process from end-to-end
• Background in DevOPS environment is preferred
