Job description
Position: Sr QA Automation Engineer
Type of Role: Contract to Hire
Must Haves
- At least 4-7 years experience in field of automation of Web applications using structured testing methods
- At least 3-5 years of experience with Automation tool – Selenium
- Expertise with one or more programming languages (Preferably Java/ JavaScript)
- Experience with Designing test automation framework (Good understanding of Tools Architecture and should have established Framework in their previous job/(s)).
- Experience with test data automation
- Experience with any one test management tool (Preferably Devops/Jira)
- Should have good understanding of Testing Process
- Good Analytical, problem-solving skills
Good to have
- Good to have exposure to different testing frameworks(practical experience implementing these)
- Experience with basic data base operations (Preferably SQL)
- Mobile Automation experience
- Experience with webservices automation
Soft Skills:
- Persistence
- Should be able to learn quickly
- Flexibility in terms of schedules, changing requirements & priorities
Roles and responsibilities:
- Update Framework(as Needed)
- Update and develop new automation libraries
- Automate regression, Smoke tests and other repeatable tests
- Document/ report bugs
