Job Description: System Administrator

Salary Range: $65,000-$68,000 annually

Location: Winter Garden, FL –Onsite.

Postion: Fulltime.

Position Overview: We are seeking two dynamic and skilled System Administrators to join our growing IT team. The primary focus of this role is to manage, maintain, and improve our IT infrastructure with an emphasis on increased automation. This is an onsite role, and successful candidates will play a key part in supporting our transition to a more automated environment while ensuring seamless operations across our systems.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain cloud infrastructure, primarily on Azure.
• Administer and monitor device management through Intune.
• Provide day-to-day support for Windows operating systems and some Linux environments.
• Manage virtualization environments, currently using VMware with potential future changes to a new hypervisor.
• Ensure timely and effective patch management for Windows systems.
• Collaborate with data teams on OS-level responsibilities, while data management tasks are handled separately.
• Work on automating routine system administration tasks to increase efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues.
• Assist with system upgrades and migrations, including database migrations from Oracle Linux to SQL (planned).
• Provide proactive maintenance and system performance monitoring.
• Support future hiring and team expansion as the IT department grows.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in system administration, with a strong background in Windows and Azure.
• Experience with virtualization platforms such as VMware, with an understanding of hypervisor technologies.
• Knowledge of device management tools like Intune.
• Familiarity with Linux operating systems (preferably Oracle Linux and potential migration to SQL).
• Experience with system patch management and troubleshooting.
• Strong problem-solving and automation skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
