Tax Accountant (Level III)
Location: Atlanta GA 30308
Duration: 12 Months
This role is onsite 5 days a week. Monday-Friday 8am-5pm.

Description:
*Possible extension and or conversion based on performance within the role.
*This role is heavily dealing with understanding and interpreting SALES TAX TREATMENT in the Equipment Finance/Leasing industry.

Responsibilities:
The overall objective of this position is to read, interpret and apply sales tax regulations while minimizing the sales and use tax burden for the Company.
This role in a 100% onsite presence at the Atlanta Location
Responsible for Sales Tax Treatment guidance in an Equipment Finance Industry
Ensure that documentation is captured and meets Tax Department standards and requirements.
Provide support for audits as needed.
Review the accuracy & completion of appropriate sales tax exemption certificates.
Provide guidance and support on streamlining sales and use processes through technology improvements (a plus)

Required Qualifications:
Sales Tax Treatment Research Experience
Deep knowledge of sales tax code, with the ability to read, interpret and apply sales tax regulations
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business related field with 4-6 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
Proficient Alteryx knowledge base.
Build and troubleshoot Alteryx workflows for the sales and use compliance processes (a plus)
Experience with Vertex O Series a plus

Required Qualifications:
Sales Tax Research experience
Equipment Finance experience a plus
Proficient in MS Office Products
Relational Database experience a plus (Access, Hyperion, Alteryx, Tableau, Micro-Strategy)
