Title : User Interface Designer – Senior
Location : Hybrid 4 days a week – Atlanta, GA
Special Notes:
- A visual interaction designer is a professional who can plan, create, and communicate beautiful, usable, and effective interface designs for mobile, web, and device interfaces. From layout to visual branding, to motion and interactivity – interactive design is collaborative and comprehensive.
- The ideal candidate will have knowledge of current digital design trends as well as design fundamentals. This candidate is passionate about all aspects of the digital space and understands how to translate business problems into strong interactive solutions.
- We will need someone who will work with a developer, researchers and experience architects designing and testing designs that will be shared across customer and employee facing channels. It will be a mix of leveraging existing styles in our old and new brands, but working collaboratively with my team to ideate, design, create and test – with some iteration of those designs built in.
Responsibilities:
- Work as part of an Agile Product Team to own and account for successful product experience design and positioning
- Own and account for UI/UX design implementation of digital products and experiences
- Deliver functional, best-in-class, user-focused, competitive, and intuitive user experiences that deliver on customer and business outcomes
- Translate end-user requirements, goals, and desired outcomes into customer journeys and holistic product experiences
- Deliver experience designs, UI/UX wireframes, interaction designs, prototypes, visual design specs
- Work with contemporary tools, including Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud to design new interaction modules, page layouts, style guides, images, icons, animations, and other visual elements.
- Apply and update existing brand (visual and interaction) standards to accommodate test goals.
- Present and communicate designs and design goals to teammates, partners, and leadership.
- Participate as an observer in user interviews and usability test sessions
- Work within a cross-functional team in an Agile/SCRUM development cycle to deliver industry-leading products
- Cultivate and share your own understanding of user problems and opportunities for improvement
Qualifications.
- Bachelors in a design related discipline such as Visual Design, UX Design, Web Design, Service Design, Experience Architecture, or Information Architecture preferred
- 3-5 years of related work experience, such as UX or digital industry, outside of school or academic study projects, with at least one year of team leadership experience
- Solid knowledge of user experience (UX) best practices, interactive design principles, information architecture, experience architecture, visual systems, and visual design
- Solid knowledge of design thinking process and framework, and familiarization with workshop and co-creations
- Solid knowledge of website architecture, interactive design principles, web usability, and online marketing and business needs
