UX Content Spec/Strategist

Job Title: Marketing Content Strategist (Contract)

Location: Atlanta GA Hybrid – 3 Days per Week

We are seeking a Content Strategist to execute content marketing strategies for a project team supporting a business-to-business brand on corporate websites. This content expert will be part of a team that develops digital experiences across multiple websites while supporting a larger digital strategy. The role may also involve updating branding, positioning, and go-to-market strategies. Collaborate cross-functionally with various teams, including business lines, product marketing, external agencies, designers, UX, authoring, SEO analysts, and other internal partners to create content that strengthens relationships with current customers and prospects.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute digital content strategies in partnership with business line stakeholders to meet business objectives and drive engagement.
• Collaborate with team members to bring the content vision to life across multiple digital platforms.
• Create scalable content approaches that can be leveraged by other teams as they develop similar strategies.
• Ensure content is delivered consistently in brand voice and tone.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams and external agencies to produce high-quality content.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Writing, Technical Writing, Journalism, Content Strategy, Communications, Library Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong understanding of content strategy principles and digital best practices.
• Excellent project management, time management, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Comfortability with Gen AI platforms to assist in content creation.
• Experience working in a matrixed organization.

Skills & Experience:

• Enterprise CMS content authoring experience required; AEM/CQ5 experience a plus.
• Strong attention to detail with experience creating content for regulated industries.
• Proven ability to execute website content plans and manage content migration projects.
• Ability to adapt to changing project needs and work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication, presentation, and analytical skills.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• 3+ years of experience in the financial services industry (banking or fintech); familiarity with payment processing is a plus.
• 8+ years of experience in content strategy.
• Proficiency in the Adobe suite of products.
• Experience with FIGMA for content creation and editing.
• Experience with agile methodology and/or within a journey team.

• Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years of relevant professional experience in content strategy, UX writing, or similar roles.
