Job Title: Mechanical Engineer

Location: Chesterfield, MO

Duration: 6+ months (Possibility of Extension & Conversion depending on Performance)

Salary Range : $32-36/hr

Job Description:

Engineer for the laboratory automation space. Designs, calculations, builds, and tests of various hardware components.

Has a working knowledge of safety, project management, fabrication print best practices, 3D printing, and experience in necessary hand tools within industry.

Excellent communication skills, highest level of attention to detail, and ability to solve problems. 1 – 3 Years of Experience

Minimum Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering

Must be well versed with CAD / SolidWorks and PDM.

Successful candidates will be researching products online, providing CAD drawings and writing technical documents (assembly instructions, bill of materials, machine shop prints, and presentations), assist in assembling prototypes, running tests, participate in design reviews and must be able to work with other engineers and researchers both locally and remotely to build laboratory automation systems.

Applicants must be able to work both independently and with different project teams onsite at Chesterfield, MO campus.

Individuals will be working with other engineers, maintenance teams, scientists, machine shops, carpenters, electricians, technicians, and vendors.

Meticulousness and Organizational skills must be at a high level.

This role is in the office and not work from home.
