W2 Hybrid AI/ML Engineer w/ GenAI

W2 Contract to Hire – 3 days Hybrid in Coppell, TX, NJ or Tampa

Overview:
We are seeking two highly skilled AI/ML Engineers or Data Scientists to join an innovative team driving the adoption and implementation of artificial intelligence solutions across the organization. This role is hands-on and focused on designing, prototyping, and productionizing AI/ML use cases. Candidates must have prior experience building GenAI applications, particularly using RAG architectures and AWS Bedrock.


Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate AI/ML use cases submitted from various business units.
  • Build and deploy prototypes; scale approved prototypes into production-ready solutions.
  • Drive multiple AI workstreams in a highly collaborative Agile team environment (6-8 team members).
  • Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to understand business problems and determine AI/ML applicability.
  • Input AWS SCaTS (Service Control Policies / Tags).
  • Engage in end-to-end GenAI application development.

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of Machine Learning/Data Science experience
  • Proven experience building GenAI applications, including:
  • Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems.
  • GenAI workflows and pipelines.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS Bedrock.
  • Strong background in data analysis and machine learning.
  • Demonstrated hands-on development skills (not seeking designers or architects).
  • Experience building and integrating with APIs.
  • Proficiency with LangGraph frameworks.
  • Solid understanding of machine learning models and their application.

    Additional Information:

  • Most past candidates were lacking hands-on GenAI, Pandas, and LangGraph experience.
  • The selected candidate will be expected to contribute from day one.
  • Python coding test focused on GenAI will be part of the interview process.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with Snowflake or similar data platforms.
