Coordinator, Logistics – Skilled

Responsibilities:

• Administers and operates the organization’s warehouses, including processing, packaging and Shipping of supplies, materials, and equipment.
• Prepares and coordinates schedules for shipping materials to control the flow of goods and regulate warehouse space.
• Ensures the effectiveness of operating procedures, space utilization, and maintenance and protection of facilities and equipment.
• Coordinates movement of product from warehouse with all 3PL companies.
• The role has clearly defined procedures and tasks as well as defined guidelines to aid in decision making.
• Ad Hoc system investigation and reporting necessary.
• Manages all aspects of shipping documentation
• creation of shipment authorization paperwork, verification of packing slips, coordination of 3PL partners on the creation of freight and customs documentation.
• Must be able to handle multiple concurrent tasks and changing priorities.
• Manages additional projects and responsibilities as required.
• Maintain quality, ensure audit compliance and record keeping in the area.
• Ensure the quality standards for the company are meet or exceeded.
• Collaborate and communicate work effectively with the team and other departments to ensure a seamless operation.
• To support growth of business. In addition, this individual will be responsible for logistics functions while team member is testing SAP platform.
