Dexian successfully developed an iOS-based mobile application for a global provider of field services to petroleum clients, aiming to create a mobile-friendly version of their existing oil and gas drilling tractive force calculator. The client needed a simpler, more user-friendly solution for field personnel, and Dexian’s 5-person team—including an onsite iOS developer, UX engineer, and offsite project manager—revamped the app using Objective-C and SQLite. The result was an intuitive mobile app optimized for iPads, enabling faster, more accurate on-site decisions for oil and gas professionals.
