APAC/Malaysia Region – Sr. Account Executive (IT Solutions & Services):
Dexian is seeking a high-performing Senior Account Executive to accelerate growth across the Malaysia market, with a strong focus on IT Solutions, Digital Transformation, Data & AI, Cloud, Application Development, Managed Services, and Strategic Workforce Solutions.
This role is designed for a consultative “hunter” sales leader who can build executive relationships, open new logos, shape transformation conversations, and position Dexian as a strategic technology partner.
The ideal candidate understands enterprise technology trends including AI adoption, data modernization, cloud transformation, application modernization, enterprise platforms, and managed delivery models, and can translate these into business outcomes for clients across industries such as Banking, Insurance, Retail, Manufacturing, Energy, and Public Sector.
Overall Requirements:

  • 5-10 years of experience in IT Solutions Sales, Technology Consulting, Strategic Account Management, or SI Sales
  • High-energy, self-starter with a relentless hunter mindset and a business development background focused on expanding market share and creating new revenue streams
  • Proven Capability to drive sales; ability to prospect new accounts and create a strong value proposition for the client – experience selling technology services or consulting solutions
  • Strong influencer through being proactive, creative and persuasive of others in solving client problems or recommending new ideas/strategies
  • Understands the importance of documentation and the utilization of tracking tools
  • Superior interpersonal skills-work collaboratively within a matrix organization
  • Demonstrated ability to consistently meet or exceed annual quotas through outbound prospecting, account penetration, and closing new deals.
  • Strong consultative selling and account management skills
  • At least Level-0 understanding of:
  • AI debate amongst enterprise clients
  • Technology and Cloud transformation
  • Application Development and Testing
  • Managed Services

Key Responsibilities:
Build and maintain relationships with clients on-site at their offices or at social events.
Own the full sales cycle, from outbound prospecting, cold calling, and networking to deal closures, with primary focus on acquiring net-new clients/logos – drive growth across both existing clients and net-new logos
Understand client business and IT initiatives, as well as their specific technical and cultural environments to provide proactive workforce planning. Understand client technology landscapes, transformation priorities, and organizational challenges
Identify opportunities for AI-driven automation, tech modernization, data & analytics, and delivery transformation
Drive proactive account mapping and C-level engagement to accelerate opportunity creation and expand footprint
Expand client base through networking and cold-calling with new contacts in assigned territory, developing relationships and partnerships through entertaining clients through client meetings in/out of office, breakfasts, lunches, dinners, sporting events, concerts, etc. 
Regularly report on pipeline health, forecast accuracy, and competitive intelligence to leadership
Achieve and exceed assigned sales quota, with measurable KPIs including pipeline creation, meetings booked, and new logo revenue
Develop and execute go-to-market strategies tailored to Malaysia, leveraging industry knowledge and market insights.
