Job Title: Java Developer

Location: Tampa, FL (Hybrid Model)

Duration: 12+ Months (Possible Extension)

Job Description
* Looking for a Mid-Level to Sr. Java Developer with overall 5-8 years of Information Technology Experience including Core Java, Collections, Multi-threading as core skillset with knowledge of databases and design patterns, and some hands-on experience on UNIX
* 3-5 years of Hands-on coding experience to support the development of enterprise applications and design and implement microservices architectures.
* Develop and maintain end-user-focused, object-oriented, data-driven analytic home-grown applications.
* Develop new code, modify existing application code, conduct unit, and system testing, and engage in rigorous documentation of developed and delivered application use cases, data flows, and functional operations.
* Expertise in Java and Object-Oriented Design and development principles is essential.
* Practical problem solving and strategic thinking skills
* Demonstrated leadership, interpersonal skills and relationship building skills
* Service oriented attitude
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and with various vendors.
* Experience working or leading requirement gathering efforts for multiple large development projects at one-time
* Proficient using basic technical tools and systems
* Experience with JIRA/SharePoint Usage/Confluence is a plus
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, driving projects/issues to closure.

Education:
* Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
* Java related certification would be preferred.
