Business Analyst (Mid-Level)

Excellent opportunity for a Mid-level Business Analyst to join a growing team. This position is with our enterprise client in the Atlanta area. You will be joining the merchandising team and you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of this team! You will support the efforts to provide subject matter expertise, project management, and analytical support to the development and execution of merchandising strategies. The Sr. Analyst will perform analysis of data, build presentations, and will solve business questions using their insights, analytics, and judgement. The Sr. Analyst will work with cross functional partners, including marketing, ops, strategy and others to ensure end to end thinking on strategy and execution. The Sr. Analyst will also support merchants directly by helping them understand their business, test pricing strategies, and helping them achieve their objectives.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • 50% Design, implement and measure pricing actions to understand the trade-off between units, sales and gross margin. Utilize learnings to help merchants reach financial objectives.
  • 30% Conduct research to become subject matter expert on a specific segment of pricing and statistical analysis
  • 10% Work across the organization and leverage cross functional teams to provide expert analytical support (i.e. domestic logistics or global supply chain costs
  • 10% Develop and deliver influential presentations that summarize complex analyses and drive effective business decisions

DURATION:

This is a 3-month contract that will convert to a perm position with an amazing fortune 500 company. Hybrid role in Atlanta, GA you will be required to come into the office Monday-Thursday and remote on Fridays!

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Advanced SQL – specifically Google BigQuery and an understanding of relational databases
  • Tableau – loading and manipulating large datasets into Tableau to build insights
  • Excel – knowledge of pivot tables, VLOOKUPS, graphing quick visualizations, building charts/graphs to understand statistical concepts.
  • Experience moving large data sets
  • Stakeholder communication – easily summarizing complex information, especially in PowerPoint decks
