Financial Advisor Support – Unlicensed Training Class (Charlotte, NC)
Overview
Ready to turn your interest in finance into a real career? As a Financial Advisor Support participant in our unlicensed training class, you’ll complete an intensive, structured onboarding program designed to prepare you for the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 7, and Series 63 licenses. Through onsite training you’ll build the foundational knowledge and practical experience needed to support newly integrated Financial Advisors and help ensure smooth account transitions. If you’re motivated, detail-oriented, and committed to long-term growth in financial services, this training-to-permanent opportunity is built for you.
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field
- Strong communication skills (verbal, written, and interpersonal)
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access)
- Experience in sales support, branch administration, or brokerage operations (a plus)
- Previous internship or experience related to financial advisory or support services
- Existing familiarity with FINRA licenses (SIE, Series 7, Series 63) is highly preferred
- A genuine passion for finance and financial services, with a clear commitment to a long-term career in the field
Nice to Have Skills
- Some completion of FINRA licenses (SIE, Series 7, and/or Series 63)
Preferred Education and Experience
- Preferred education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field
- Preferred experience level: Experience that demonstrates exposure to financial advisory, brokerage operations, or support services (including internship experience)
Other Requirements
- Onsite, full-time attendance required for the structured training program
- Must be fully committed to completing the program and obtaining required licenses within the required timeframe
- Background checks will be conducted prior to offers being extended
- Schedule: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday – Friday
- Compensation: $19.00/hour; opportunity to earn up to $60,000 once full-time
- Position Type: Full-Time, Temporary to Permanent (approximately 4 months with conversion upon successful licensing)
