Financial Services Representative II

Job Summary:

Dexian is seeking a Financial Services Representative II for an opportunity with a client located in West Des Moines, IA.

Responsibilities:

• Providing personalized customer service in person and over the phone, processing various financial transactions like a teller, opening and maintaining different types of accounts and products, and holding financial conversations to understand client needs and recommend solutions
• Identify referral opportunities to other business areas and build client relationships proactively
• Researching and resolving client issues, acting as a liaison between bank departments, participating in training, complying with policies and regulations, assisting with branch opening and closing, and potentially complying with the S.A.F.E. Mortgage Licensing Act

Requirements:

• A High School Diploma or GED is required, while an Associate’s degree in a business-related field or two years of related experience is preferred
• A minimum of two years of banking or related experience is generally needed
• Important skills include excellent interpersonal, customer service, and sales skills, professional demeanor, strong work ethic, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Strong communication, confidentiality, organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks are also important
• Familiarity with various account ownership’s and bank products and services is essential
• General math and accounting skills, problem-solving abilities, experience with banking software, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software may also be required
• A Notary License may be required depending on branch needs
