Title: Laboratory Technician
Location: Cincinnati, OH
Duration: 06-12 months, with potential to extend
Pay range: $20 – $21.50 /hr.
Entry level for employees who develop proficiency in R&D Procedural work and expertise in Application work by combining hands-on experimentation with scientific principles and knowledge from science/engineering education to drive foundational technical understanding and solve technical problems. Delivers technical outputs which address critical innovation challenges and completion of key milestones. Set up, operate, and maintain the lab equipment. They test, monitor, and keep detailed logs of the experiments.
This is an entry-level Research & Development (R&D) technician or associate scientist role for someone with a science or engineering background. The person will:
- Work in a lab setting, operating and maintaining equipment.
- Conduct experiments, collect and record data.
- Use basic scientific principles to support innovation or product development.
- Help solve technical problems by experimenting and documenting outcomes.
Ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals in chemistry, biology, materials science, chemical engineering, or related fields.
