Job description
Title: Program Manager (IT)
We are looking for a senior-level Program Manager with a strong blend of PMO governance, portfolio oversight, and enterprise technology program management. The ideal candidate has experience supporting large, complex technology portfolios rather than simply managing individual projects.
Target Background
- 10+ years of Program/Project Management experience
- Experience within a PMO or Portfolio Management Office
- Infrastructure, cloud, platform, or enterprise technology programs
- Comfortable working with senior executives and driving initiatives in ambiguous environments
- Experience managing multiple concurrent workstreams or large portfolios
Must-Have Experience
- Enterprise PMO or portfolio governance
- Managing risks, issues, dependencies, and executive escalations across multiple projects
- Preparing executive status reports, dashboards, and Steering Committee materials
- Coordinating multiple Project Managers or Workstream Leads in a matrixed organization
- Experience with Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid delivery methodologies
- Strong executive communication and stakeholder management
- Familiarity with tools such as Azure DevOps (ADO), Jira, ServiceNow, Clarity, MS Project, and SharePoint
Ideal Candidate Will Have Experience With
- Portfolio governance for concurrent technology projects
- Infrastructure, resiliency, cloud, or enterprise technology initiatives
- PMO operating models, governance frameworks, and reporting processes
- Executive-level reporting and presentations
- Change control, dependency management, budget tracking, and resource planning
- Standing up new programs or creating governance processes in ambiguous environments

- Can clearly differentiate program governance from project delivery
- Has experience presenting to CIOs, CTOs, or executive steering committees
- Naturally discusses RAID management, portfolio health, governance cadence, and executive reporting
- Demonstrates influence without authority and comfort operating in gray areas
- Has supported enterprise technology portfolios, not just individual projects
