Project IT Manager II

Job description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage multiple inventory-related projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Utilize Agile methodologies to plan, execute, and monitor project progress, ensuring continuous improvement and adaptability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including inventory, finance, IT, and other business units, to define project requirements, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, and track project performance against established metrics.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Communicate project status, progress, and outcomes to stakeholders, including senior management and project sponsors.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards, as well as industry’s best practices.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment, promoting knowledge sharing and continuous learning.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Inventory Management, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. A master’s degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with a focus on inventory management projects.
  • Strong knowledge and experience with Agile methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP) certification is highly desirable.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and motivate teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software, such as MS Project, JIRA, and Confluence.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Experience with inventory systems, ERP implementations, and IT infrastructure projects is a plus.
