What your day-to-day will look like:
- Providing on-site supervision of construction activities during after-hours and weekends.
- Ensuring all work adheres to project specifications, safety standards, and timeline requirements
- Addressing any immediate concerns or obstacles that arise during evening operations
- Act as the weekend and after hours point of contact for clients, vendors, and contractors addressing inquiries and concerns related to the project
- Making real-time decisions to maintain project momentum and quality
- Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate and align scope activities with overall project plans.
- Ensure compliance with client requirements, as well as company policies and procedures.
- Project coordination: Assist the project manager in overseeing all aspects of project development and execution, including schedule adherence and quality control.
- Compiling detailed weekly progress reports highlighting achievements, challenges, and next steps
- Creating accurate records of all after-hours and weekend activities
- Relaying critical information to the Senior Project Manager to ensure seamless workflow transitions
- Maintaining clear communication channels with all stakeholders during evenings and weekend
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, construction management, or related field.
- 4-6 years of experience in construction and/or project management or related roles within the real estate industry.
- Exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to make informed decisions independently while maintaining alignment with overall project objectives
- Understanding of construction processes and the commercial real estate industry
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience working with commercial real estate clients.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
MS Project and Office Experience (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc…)
Schedule: Tuesday – Sunday – Approx 40 hours after-hours. Require flexibility – weekly schedule is flexible.
Main Schedule: 4 days of the week after hours (5pm-1am), which can also include weekends. 1 day of the week regular shift hours (9am-5pm). Hiring Manager still confirming shifts with client and will update as confirmation is received.
