Job Title: Receptionist
Duration: Aug 25, 2025 - Feb 20, 2026
Location: Richmond Virginia 23231
Pay Range:$18 – 19.74 hourly on W2
JOB SUMMARY
Shift: M-F, 7:30am-4pm,
Key Responsibilities
- Greet, screen and facilitate visitor/vendor access (includes visitor sign in)
- Be able to provide visitors with basic site and Client information
- Issue visitor badges and temporary access cards, when appropriate
- Monitor inventory levels of office supplies and order as needed
- Order building consumable supplies as requested
- Issue building access cards to associates
- Create workspace name plates for new associates
- Maintain accurate seating chart of office associates
- Apply postage to mail, disperse mail and perform related tasks
- Monitor voicemails in the site’s main number inbox and route to the appropriate associate or department
- Assist and coordinates use of shared resources (i.e., meeting rooms and pool car)
- Update digital signage with visitor or other information as requested
- Organize and maintain lobby / front desk areas
- Track utilities usage from invoices for all sites
- Support the Client’s EHS department by providing updates to emergency roster, maps and evacuation kits
- Resolve problems associated with building services including janitorial, mail services, coffee services and meeting rooms
- Assist with receiving and dispatching of work orders to technical staff, vendors or other service providers
- Assist with the coordination and scheduling of building maintenance activities
- Work collaboratively within the facility management team
- Anticipate and respond to Client’s needs and concerns; seek to improve the Client’s overall satisfaction
- Identify potential risks and escalate, to ensure no incident or disruption to the Client’s operations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- 2 years’ experience in Hospitality or Customer service fields preferred.
- Proven skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
- Track record of initiative, integrity and good judgment.
- Highly collaborative with strong interpersonal skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate professionally.
- Strong Customer Service skills
- Proficient skills in MS Office Workplace (Excel, Word, Outlook, & PowerPoint)
