Test Engineer

Title: Test Engineer
Location: Torrance CA 90503
Payrate: 40 – 50/hr. on W2
Duration: 6 months contract with possible extension

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development of test planning, execution, and data analysis
• Instrumentation of test assets including thermocouples, voltage probes, current transducers
• Create test documentation including test instructions, specifications, drawings, and verification plans
• Design and modify test fixtures and instrumentation for charging equipment testing
• Support hands on technical root cause analysis and resolution of issues found during testing

Qualifications:

• 2+ years in a similar role
• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in engineering or related science from an accredited university
• Experience running and maintaining a variety of system and component level tests
• Skilled in hands-on hardware testing at a system level
• Experience working with medium and high voltage systems up to 1000VDC
• Ability to work autonomously
• Experience with data loggers and data acquisition systems
