Full Stack Engineer

Digital Intelligence Systems, LLC dba Dexian DISYS seeks Full Stack Engineer (5) in McLean, VA to:

Lead software design and development. Design and build complex end-to-end systems (full stack development) from concept to finished product. Write clean, testable, readable, and maintainable code with a test-first development approach. Conduct software development using a variety of programming languages such as C#, Python, SQL; frameworks such as .NET, Node.JS, Angular; operating systems including Microsoft, Linux, databases (Oracle, Snowflake), and platforms (AWS.) Use numerical analysis software such as MATLAB and R. Leverage version control tool GIT (Stash), project management tool JIRA, and perform continuous integration and deployment using tools such as Jenkins and Artifactory. Assist with requirements capturing and ensure requirements and specifications are met. Use, implement and adopt diverse technologies. Analyze requirements and related information, document design options and decisions, and present these in an organized manner to a broad array of technical and non-technical audiences. Mentor junior staff. Position is eligible for part-time telecommuting.

Education: Bachelor’s degree or the foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems Technologies with a concentration in Information Assurance, or a closely related field and five (5) years of progressive post-graduate experience in a software development occupation.

The required experience in software development must include:

• 5 years of experience working with object-oriented design and development, and standard software design patterns;
• 5 years of experience designing and building complex end-to-end systems (full stack development) from concept to finished product;
• 5 years of experience using programming languages such as C#, Python or SQL; frameworks such as .NET, .JS, or Angular and operating systems Microsoft, or Linux, databases such as Oracle or Snowflake, and AWS;
• 2 years of experience using version control tool GIT (Stash), project management tool JIRA, and continuous integration and deployment tools like Jenkins and Artifactory; and
• Demonstrated knowledge of software development specific to the financial field; and using numerical-analysis software such as MATLAB and R.

Knowledge can be demonstrated through experience, training, or coursework. Travel and work in various unanticipated work locations in the US, to be determined by the employer.
