Product Manager – Retail Commercial & Industrial

About the Role:

The GPTA Retail team is searching for an experienced and results-oriented Project Manager to join our team and lead a critical project focused on improving our Commercial & Industrial (C&I) Retail Operations. You will play a pivotal role in planning, executing, and delivering this project on time, within budget, and scope.

Responsibilities:

Lead the entire project lifecycle from initiation, planning, execution, monitoring & control, and closure
Define project scope, develop a detailed project plan, and create a Work Breakdown Structure (WBS)
Manage project budget and resources effectively, ensuring project deliverables are completed within budget constraints
Develop and maintain project schedules, timelines, and milestones
Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and dependencies specific to the C&I Retail domain
Facilitate clear communication and collaboration between all project stakeholders, including internal teams, external vendors, and business partners involved in C&I Retail Operations
Track project progress, identify and address issues proactively related to C&I Retail Operations, and report status updates to stakeholders regularly
Manage project documentation, including project charter, plans, risk register, and communication logs
Conduct project reviews and implement corrective actions as needed to ensure project success
Ensure project deliverables meet the required quality standards and business objectives outlined
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Minimum 8+ years of experience in project management, preferably within the Commercial & Industrial (C&I) Retail domain
Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time, within budget, and scope
In-depth understanding of Retail Operations within the Commercial & Industrial (C&I) Retail industry is essential
Strong experience in project planning methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall)
Excellent proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Asana, Azure DevOps)
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
Ability to lead and motivate a team, delegate tasks effectively, and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail
Nice to Haves:

Experience working within the Retail environment or similar C&I Retail organization
Experience managing projects involving technical aspects (e.g., software development, data integration) relevant to C&I Retail Operations
Experience with change management methodologies
PMP or similar project management certification
Six Sigma or similar process improvement certification
