Senior Full Stack JAVA Engineer

Digital Intelligence Systems, LLC dba Dexian DISYS seeks Senior Full Stack JAVA Engineer (5) in McLean, VA to:

Analyze requirements and design and build complex end-to-end IT systems and applications. Develop and implement IT solutions using Java frameworks, specifications, and languages such as Java Servlets, Java Servlet Pages (JSP), Java Database Connection (JDBC), Spring Framework, Hibernate, Struts, Validator framework, Portals, Liferay Portal, Groovy, Design patterns, and REST API. Write clean, testable, readable, and easily maintainable code with a test-driven development approach. Create VPC (Virtual Private Cloud), IAM (Identity and Access Management), Subnet, EC2 (Elastic Compute) instance, RDS (Relational Database Service), S3 (Simple Storage Service), DynamoDB from console and cloud formation stacks. Responsible for being involved in the entire SDLC (Software Development Lifecycle) of the projects including design, development, testing implementation, and production support. Design Microservices, Event-driven/reactive systems, or other Cloud Native architectures. Develop and implement applications using DevOps, automation, and Continuous Delivery tools like Jenkins, Artifactory or Urban Code. Design, deploy, and maintain cloud-ready containerized applications. Prepare technical design documents. Mentor junior developers. Lead the Scrum using Agile, Scrum approaches.
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Science & Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or a closely related field, and 6 (six) years of progressive experience in a Software Engineering occupation. Experience in a Software Engineering occupation must include:

• six (6) years of experience with REST API Design & Development using Java or NodeJS;
• six (6) years of experience with test-driven development and modern test frameworks;
• five (5) years of experience with any major JavaScript framework such as Angular, React, and deploying to cloud service providers, such as AWS;
• five (5) years of experience designing Microservices, Event-driven/reactive systems, or other Cloud Native architectures using UI frameworks, cloud technologies, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning;
• four (4) years of experience designing, deploying, and maintaining cloud-ready containerized applications; and
• three (3) years of experience working with DevOps, Automation, and Continuous Delivery tools like Jenkins, Artifactory, or Urban Code.
