Job Summary:

Dexian is seeking a Trading Analyst for an opportunity with a client located in Charlotte, NC.

Responsibilities:

• Booking new issuance details in Treasury’s long term debt reporting system (BASIS)
• Reviewing and approving economic terms of proposed structured note issuances
• Monitoring the team’s mailboxes to respond promptly to requests to approve transactions or transaction-related documentation
• Preparing or coordinating documentation in connection with various GF activities (e.g. issuer call notices, signatures for issuance, etc.)
• Preparing analysis on structured note portfolio as required for funding analysis
• Actively participate in Operational Excellence initiatives focused on simplifying, streamlining, and automating processes
• Completing ad-hoc projects as requested

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
• 2 years of relevant experience within a financial institution
• Excellent attention to detail
• Proficiency with Excel
• Effectively work with others/business partnering
• Ability to surface and resolve issues with diplomacy
• Intellectual curiosity
• Strong problem solving skills
• Team player, takes initiative, self-starter
• Analytical abilities / financial acumen
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of coding (VBA, SQL, etc.)
• Experience with Long-Term Debt and Structured Notes
• Comfort working with financial products
• 2 years of relevant experience within a financial institution
